Never having written a blog before, and- after having read only a handful, I'm somewhat reluctant to try this. However, I would like to publicly testify of the blessings I have received during and subsequent to committing my Spirit-directed words to paper.

I pursued my goal of penning a book of poems that would reflect my love for my Heavenly Father and His for all of His children, as well as the love of my Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, for each of us, His children, including thoughts that might inspire, uplift, encourage and increase faith.

The book to which I refer is Look Up and Rejoice!, published in May of 2019. Since then I have published five more Titles, each a book of verse. My most recent title, Life Sounds In Verse was published on February third of this year.

My books are not successful the way the world measures success. Royalties are minimal. The market for poetry books is improving of late but sales news remains underwhelming. No sour grapes here to be sure, as I wish each of you an abundance of sales and success as an author.

I am here to tell you that despite what some would think from the aforementioned lack of tangible success, my efforts have proved a resounding success! My overriding purpose for putting poetry to paper with the end goal of publishing, was to leave something of myself to my family; children, grandchildren and great-grands. Perhaps of equal or even greater import was and is helping even one person to feel more loved by God.

Well, this is my first and perhaps my last blog, as such.
