No one needs to expect anything of you. You are your own purpose. What’s going on in the world, your opinion of that, is determined based on where your heart lies. If you have anger, you will see anger. If you have love, you will see love. Neither are constant, but the world has messages for the loved and the hurt.

These situations, the news, behaviors, beliefs, are temporary constructs of the mind. They live forever only if we allow them to penetrate our mind. They can be changed and loved if we love and respect each other. The undesirable outside world does not have to be a permanent being or a determinant of your reality.

As children we were raised to be who we thought we should become. Our parents, their parents, have passed down beliefs. In this new age, we are coming around to what makes sense. What is sensible, kind, and forgiving. This is the way of a Lightworker. A wayshower. An activist. This is the way of the heart. All else is formidable.

There are going to be constructs, situations and stories that will hurt you. This is the way because this is the world we have been greeted. It is a part of us to see beyond the known, to know ourself in realization with God. The more you resist, the more painful your life will become.

Take a minute to let go of your vision of yourself. Take a minute to view yourself not as you, but as the aspect of being Known by God. You will understand what it means to be peaceful when you find it in yourself.
