I just finished listening to the (Hebrew) audiobook of
ותכתבו אהובתנו by
אמונה אלון (not yet available in English) which I borrowed from Brooklyn Public Library and listened to at a slower than normal speed (60%); I really enjoyed and recommend it. Spanning the past hundred years it is about three generations of Jerusalem (and its settlement suburbs) Orthodox women and the men in their lives (focusing more on the former and less on the two dimensional latter). It's beautifully written and seasoned with traditional Jewish textual references. The ebook edition is currently on sale:
