Unflappable Publishes Today!!!

Hi everyone,

I hope you and your loved ones are all safe and sound. It's very strange indeed to be releasing a book during the time of COVID-19.

But today is the day Unflappable flies, and I wanted to share the excitement with you. I hope my book will provide entertainment, distraction, and some much-needed laughs during this trying time.

Several of my best early reviews were from people who had little or no connection with wildlife or the environment. But the one I'd like to quote here is from Ted Williams, one of my environmental writer heroes. I was beyond thrilled he agreed to read it, let alone loved it!

Except for Carl Hiaasen I almost never read fiction. But I found a novel and wound up binge-reading for two days. “Unflappable” by Suzie Gilbert is up there with the best of Hiaasen and in lots of ways similar in style and humor. Gilbert, an experienced wildlife rehabber, has an encyclopedic knowledge of wildlife and habitat issues which she masterfully weaves into her tale. “Unflappable” is a perfect tonic for quarantined, bored, depressed wildlife lovers -- and for anyone who appreciates good, crisp story telling.

My best wishes to all of you, and stay safe. I'm glad we have the Internet! If you enjoy my book, please pass the word on to your friends, relatives, and social media sites. And if you could put a review on Amazon and/or Goodreads, it would be an invaluable help to me.

Thank you and be well!

Suzie
