Hi everyone

It's always gratifying when an author achieves that orange Number One Bestseller banner on Amazon. The Afterlife of Alice Watkins: Book One achieved that on Friday and has stayed there over the weekend in Canada, UK and Australia. In fact, all my books have found their way onto various bestseller lists in different categories over the last few days.

The thrill is a little different at the moment. It is tempered with the knowledge that the world is transiting through such unfamiliar times, that everyone on this planet is almost living through the plot of a dystopian novel.

I am reading more than I usually do and enjoying such authors as Antony Botting, Hannah Lynn, Jon Justice, Jesse Frankel, Martin Lundqvist, Lisa Keeble and others; all authors who are dedicated to their craft and will provide many hours of distraction.

So curl up with a good book, watch the streaming channels, do whatever you need to do to stay safe and occupied. Be kind to yourself. I am off to have a Star Wars marathon!

Remember you are not stuck at home, you are safe at home.
