Gomez lost his first tooth and got his first letter from his very own tooth fairy!
Dearest Gomez the Gallant,
I am your tooth fairy, Oliwier.
I swim in magical seas from wide open Yaader Foxhaven Bay all the way through to the secret waters deep within The Hidden Fortress of Zion Rock. I am known for igniting the first spark of electric eels and setting into motion the pulse through Hydra-blue Tigers’ veins which enables their first roars. I’m also gifted at setting giggles bubbling and soothing hurt feelings with the gentle rock of an ocean at my fingertips. I surf on stingrays early in the mornings and that glide is the same glide you feel on skateboard wheels, like soaring.
It has been ever such a challenge to wait for your first tooth to come out. It’s truly a special item to collect. I use the teeth I retrieve to stop up the waters hidden deep within the orange rocks at Hidden Fortress where they protect and store ancient wisdom amid each calming droplet. The water only flows a few trickles at a time, often taking thousands of years to make its way forth.
Here’s how tooth loss works. With the loss of each tooth, you have an opportunity to cast off one mistake or bad habit. I collect it inside the lost tooth and as I step through the rip between our worlds (opened by your tooth’s loss), that bad habit transforms into a magical protection. We, Supai Faires use that protection on knowledge stored in Hidden Fortress. For there is much we learn from bad habits and effortful change.
You must set the intention to rid yourself of the habit or mistake, and with your efforts, in grows something new and better with the larger, sturdier adult tooth. Only certain things can be lost though, like teeth. Your parents can guide you some in your choice of what to cast aside.
I’ve watched you a long time now and know how you’ve grown to be so intelligent, kind, and steady. I’m glad to be your fairy and watch you grow bigger.
With Love,
Oliwier Calico Skinkleray Jellylash, Esq.
