Bittersweet this life

Feeling like I’m starring

In a marionette show

A sullen pantomime

My sorrows

My heartache

Dramatic entertainment

For the masses

No tales of fairy’s here

Only those of the Grimm kind

Although I am at peace

I secretly wish for happily-ever-after

But here I am

Dancing, hurting, bleeding

Baring my soul

For a chance at your coin

Everyone loves a tragedy

And I’ve got it in spades

Watch as I court Death

With my fatalistic art

I am your cautionary tale

Your new false idol

Do with me as you will

My fate is already sealed
