It's July/Aug of 2023 and I've been rereading the first three Pyke books every 10 or 12 days (the audiobooks are amazing) like a lunatic. I was a Patreon patron for a hot minute so I'm as caught up as I think I'll ever be. The author is a person with a life and does not owe me a fourth book or better yet a long series including the wild men and maybe Carter's buddy and Auk's other lovers. The world-building was great, the perfectly imperfect characters were great, and the constant alternating between tears and laughter was great. That'll have to be enough.
