The Light That Spills

I kayaked this morning, across our local sacred tea tree lake. Our ancient ones, the indigenous people of this land, used to travel here to birth in the healing waters.
I was searching for light. I saw it everywhere once I became mindful of it. But there was one sacred moment, when a man threw his squealing child up in the air to land splashing in the water, that the child surfaced and laughed with only the abandonment that a child can. It was like music. It was then that I became aware that you can also hear light.

Blessed am I.
