Inspector Vivaldi Mysteries is a short series with only six episodes, but they are both well written and well presented. Inspector Vivaldi is with the Triest police department.  Triest is a city on the northeast coast ot Italy. Inspector Vivaldi is estranged from his wife ( they live apart, but are not divorced).  He has a son, Stefano Vivaldi, who is also a policeman on the force.   Inspector Vivaldi is having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that his son is gay.  Stefano Vivaldi has a putative girlfriend/fianee, and a boyfriend who is a doctor at a local hospital.  Stefano is having difficulty dealing with the fact that he is gay. All in all, a series that is well worth your time.
