I would love to win this because after I read these signed copies they could stand proudly along with the likes of W.O. Mitchell, Phillip Pullman, Sue. Monk Kidd and many others. Meeting authors and collecting signed books is a little hobby I started a long time ago so I really would love to win this prize. I have read so many of these authors’ works. I love Mr Patterson's books. I discovered him when i was a teenager and worked at the citys Public Library, (i got tried to get both my parents into him as well but he was more my dads cup of tea than my moms.) but i didn't really start to devour his writing/books until i was sitting at my dads bedside before he passed away and then again after his death so an autographed book would be such an honour and would remind me of the last weeks i was lucky enough to have with him.

I find James Patterson's books both easy to read and when needed (I am a VERY busy grandmother of 12) to know when I put it down I can pick it back up and carry on. Each chapter is a complete thought process and the chapters are easy to follow.

James Patterson's books are the greatest! NYPD Blue is one I just read. Awesome books.
I want to follow his lead when I write my own novels about a female detective and do a series.
Right now, I'm writing a book about a killer animal.

James Patterson is my favorite writer I love all of his books

I especially love the format that James Patterson uses, the short chapters and the ability (If I can stop) to be able to stop and pick right back up without needing to reread. He is able to direct those that write in conjunction with him to do the same!
