Sammy Gillette was found stuffed in one of the apartment’s community clothes dryers. He was naked and had been severely beaten with a club of some sort, or maybe a baseball bat before being put in the dryer. According to the coroner the cause of death was ‘inconclusive’ – they had no idea how long he had been in the spinning dryer and the heat had pretty much cooked him. He was pronounced as ‘well done’ – at least that’s how the coroner described it.
