View from my coffee cup

I needed coffee badly. A coffee bar, in my local grocery store, was a sight to behold. I stood six feet away to get my brew. No chairs to lounge. The long benches on the outside patio were already occupied — at both ends, I went back to my car.

It is difficult for me (and many others) to accept that the social-distancing conditions under which we’ve found ourselves, because of the current COVID-19, are the new normal. I banished that thought and changed my focus to how I wished to manage my own SELF.

In my latest Newsletter, RESONATE, I wrote:

What is your opinion about SELF?

Underneath my screwups, I am the same as my neighbor. I  might not experience my challenges at the same time as my neighbor though I admit, that happened to me too. For this reason, I pay attention to my SELF.  Attending to SELF is deeper than taking a shower, brushing the teeth, and getting dressed, it is acknowledging the divine spirit within, that leads, directs, and guides us as we proceed through this life. So, here are some actions you might take to help your SELF:
1. Pay attention to what SELF is saying
2. Love SELF as God loves
3. Banish  judgment of SELF
4. Your SELF is your business
5. Yield to your Built-in-prayer-mechanism (in others, yield to your SELF).
“All are examining Self in a big way. Something inside of us keeps churning, stirring, seeking and reaching for completion.”
