Bear-A-Bear Concept
Most people have been into a Build-A-Bear workshop. Whether it was for their daughter, niece, goddaughter, or a little friend. There are steps to building a bear within the workshop. I’m going to break it down and show how these steps are also what a lot of women are doing as far as men goes. If you have ever done these things or are doing them, pull back and stop. A Build-A-Bear man is no damn good. When it’s all said and done you would have built him for the next woman.
Upon walking into the Build-A-Bear workshop there is a selection of animals to chose from. You have bears, dogs, rabbits, horses, pigs, etc..
Step one: Chose which one you like

Once your choice have been made you move to the next station.

Step two: Decide whether your selection will have a heart or will you give it a voice.

You have made your choice, you chose to give your pick a voice. In doing so now, your choice will be able to speak whatever you want it to say. Moving on to the next station after deciding on what you want your pick to say. At this station is where you feed it, meaning you get to stuff it how you like it.

Step Three: Your choice of whether it’s firm, mildly firm, soft, or in between.

You have completed that task now it’s on the washing it.

Step Four: You get to pretend to scrub the fur clean. Using your imagination. The outside is now shinny and looking like new money.

Now, that you have completed that it’s on to the next step. Oh, it’s the one many enjoy easily.

Step Five: Picking out the clothes for your choice. Here you are able to make your bear what you want it to be. There’s different occupations to chose from doctors to firefighters. Dancers, football players, basketball players, teachers, nurses, or a bus driver. If you don’t want them to have an occupation there are many different types of outfits with the shoes to match.

Yes, now you have given your bear the job of your dreams. Now it’s on to the last two steps. These kind of go hand in hand.

Step Six: You get to name your bear. You get to give them their birth date and background. They can be from anywhere you want them to be from. Their name can mean anything you want it to mean. Whether it’s the truth of not.

Lastly, but not the least. No, no, here’s where everything is tied together. You have done everything to make it to this point so, why not reap the reward.

Step Seven: You pay! Everything you have chosen for your bear you now pay. Once you’ve completed your purchase you place your bear in it’s house alone with it’s birth certificate. You get to take him home and play with him for as long as you want to.


Now, let’s really break this down and put it in perspective of a Build-A-Bear Man.

Step One: You chose a man

Step Two: He has no transportation. Which means you will be taking him wherever he needs to go. Not only that he has mastered the art of bumming rides. Or better yet he will use your vehicle; dropping you off and picking you up.

Step Three: You give him your heart. At the same time a voice. It’s a voice that’s not his own. It’s yours. You have told him the type of man you want and need. The things you want a man to say. The way to treat you. So to hold on to you, he gives and says what you want to hear. They’re not his true words, thoughts, or feelings. But, it’s what you want.

Step Four: You clean him up. In your eyes he’s everything. You see what you want to see. Not what’s no really there.

Step Five: He has no occupation. So, what do you do. You see his potential. Because you see it you are willing to do whatever it takes to get him where you want him to be. It doesn’t matter if you are paying for training classes, CDL license, or talking to whoever you know that can possibly get him on a job. You are working harder than him.

Step Six: He has no wardrobe. Meaning all he owns is jogging pants, basketball shorts, tees, wife beaters, Timbs, jeans, and Jordan’s. He may double his basketball shorts for boxers.

Step Five: He hasn’t used his real name in so long he has forgotten it. His mama still has his birth certificate and Social Security Card.

Step Six: You purchase everything. You are kicking out your money to take care of him. You move him into your home. You let him use your car. Until you help him get his own car. You feed him, always making sure he isn’t hungry. You get him a good paying job. A job that he’s thankful for only because you are not making him pay any bills. You allow him to use his money to get back on his feet.

Take a step back and look at said “man.” You have made him into something any woman would be happy to have. That’s exactly what happens. You built him up for the next woman. All of your hard work, another woman will benefit from it. He doesn’t see you as his woman after he has something. Now, you are only a roof over his head, food in his stomach, clothes on his back, and sex when he wants it. You didn’t make him work for you, you worked for him.

If you are doing this. Relationship and after relationship. If this is your track record. Stop dealing with Build-A-Bear men. Get you a man who is already built. Know for yourself that, that’s what you deserve and you want accept nothing less.
