Okay, I need to finally start getting some mileage out of Goodreads, so...

I have a new book, another collection of history vignettes titled The Fall of Empires: A Brief History of Imperial Collapse . I had fun writing it and no hope it would find a publisher, so I am glad I could put it out. It's probably also the last book of that kind of popular history I'll write, too, so it's a little bittersweet (but time makes fools of us all, so I shouldn't make promises like that).

Also, if you want to see some of my non-history work, go see the LGBT-themed superhero web serial I've been working on, Jon & Amar. It's on hiatus because of, well, the ongoing collapse of society and all that, but it will start updating regularly again shortly.
