Hi Readers!

I'm starting a new blog to record media and memories around the publication of my debut novel, Spindle City. Writers have their whole lives to write a first book... I've taken 51 to complete mine.

First up a series of book trailers about the novel, and my personal connection to the textile industry in Fall River, MA., where the novel takes place. Many will feature interviews I completed in 2000 with my then, 91-year-old aunt talking about her hometown.
