It’s rare, but it’s fun when one of my stories gets the audio treatment. Today, over at The Wicked Library, they have an all-new story, called “The Man at Dealey Plaza” premiering, performed by Graham Rowat. My first paid writing assignment was as columnist for THE CLARION CALL, Clarion University's student newspaper (I was officially the "Circulation Manager", but the job was so mind-numbingly simple it took five minutes and the outgoing Editorial Board, upon giving me the job, pointed out that they just wanted to give me something that would put me in the bullpen). Since then, I've dabbled with the idea of nonfiction writing again--scratch a writer, get someone who can't shut their goddamned mouth--but I'm a lazy researcher and while I was an okay journalist, I enjoyed just riffing on things.
