Hello Stranger
Age: 32, I have always been an old soul with a childish sense of wonder. The ideal requirement to be a writer, now that i think about it….
That’s also what this site is about. Browse at your own peril! I haven’t been active on it for quite a while.
Professional Occupation:
newly anointed Account Executive at Skribble, I solemly swear to carry the torch of digitalization to the horizon and beyond.
Private Occupation: Nerd (books, movies from 2000 onwards, series), Mom (1 year old, the reincarnation of a squirrel on caffeine), Hobby-Gourmet (the eye is always bigger than the stomach), and writer of books, lately more shortstories, Co-Founder of www.flashfiction.ch
et cetera:
Morning person, but I don’t drink coffee, I might have a slight tea obsession though – of course I have it under control!
And if we already have Simon Baker with his wavy blonde curles there:
I’m most certainly part Labrador: I’m good natured and I also have the appetite of one. Why do people ask me if I’m hungry, they know I am. But I’m also driven, passionate and not afraid to speak my mind, kind of like a tiny Chihuahua, to stay with the canine metaphores.
I don’t really like the idea of small talk. Talk to me about big important stuff, like, world politics, why the eagles didn’t fly Frodo and the ring to Mordor, or if octopuses are in fact aliens: “The giant Pacific octopus has three hearts, nine brains and blue blood, making reality stranger than fiction” (from highly credible Source) If I haven’t convinced you, here are some more facts from another airtight source: 13 terrifying things Octopuses can do . If you are now a true believer – so basically right where I want you – and you find yourself with some time, you might enjoy my latest flashfiction – unfortunately it’s only in German: Sushi oder Sklaven . It might explain my current obsession with octopuses. Next month, I might be into something completely different. That’s the curse and blessing of being a writer. What will be the same is my marvelling at the intricate workings of this (and any other) world.
Looking forward to seeing you in person.
Lucie aka the writer.
