I am a bit concerned about how good the translation will be. Just spent yesterday's coffee with friends in a discussion of the politics of using 'hate' when French has a word for hate, and then trying to figure why detest wasn't used, or loath etc. with the merits of these. Wish I could get hold of the book in French.
