Hullo, most excellent and admirable readers! Thank you for continuing to support my work through these strange and somewhat terrible days. 2020 has really put us all through the wringer, hasn't it?
Not all has been gray and lonely, however. I recently had the opportunity to connect with a wildly successful epic fantasy writer. I can't say who until he/she gives me the go ahead, but let's just say this author sells in a year...what I've sold my whole career.
Yeah. Pretty spectacular.
Seriously, praising God for this chance to revamp my publishing strategies and business model. This author has some very specific ideas to enable me to push my craft to the next level, and so I'll be working very hard and quite a bit differently. In the meantime, school has begun. I teach middle school English/Reading at a local public middle school. And online learning is consuming my time. This is the first season in recent memory during which I haven't written creatively for three weeks straight. That said, I'm hoping to get into a groove with teaching and figure out where and when I can pour into writing.
Now for the update on the Myridian Constellation: We're planning Mirror of Souls to release in February with a Kickstarter early release in December. In the meantime, I will be releasing a cool Alastair Coldhollow short story in October!
