I enjoyed the empty nest for less than a month before COVID hit and she came back home for a year. O.O
She went back to Uni full time in September and has 6 week semesters, so she's home now until mid-January. Sigh. I'm hopeful for a solid spring of empty nesting, though!

To have a taste of empty nesting, and then have it taken away🤭
Something to wish for in the New Year?😇

It was honestly agony. But she didn't feel safe in the dorms. COVID kept sweeping through and half of her classmates had gone home. So asking her to stay felt selfish. But this fall with her at Uni for at least a month at a time has been GREAT!
