LOVE IS POWERFUL resources for teachers and librarians
Hi Everyone,
Thank you so much for reading and sharing LOVE IS POWERFUL. I love hearing your stories of how you've been encouraged, inspired, and reminded that even the smallest voice is powerful.
My favorite reviews are the ones from parents, aunts, and other important adults in kid's lives that tell me their child started shouting "love is powerful!" along with Mari. I firmly believe that kids' books should be interactive. If it makes them laugh, wriggle in their seats, jump up, or shout along with the book—what an amazing reading experience! That child has been moved and that's wonderful.
For teachers and librarians, I have a read-a-loud lesson plan, created in collaboration with educators, available for download on my website here:
LOVE IS POWERFUL resources

Appropriate for grades K-2 and can be modified for older elementary students. This can also be done as a class or at home during reading time.
Downloads include Lesson Plan and coloring pages so that kids can make their own messages of hope for the world.
Best,
Heather
