Continuing with my poetry challenge to write in response to a photograph today's poem is one of a journey.
God bless you in your own journey and whatever lies ahead for you.


Her journey was one of hope
When she couldn’t see ahead
Her heart stilled by His voice
And her soul by His Word fed.
Along the path set before her
Mindfully aware of all around
She trusted in His guidance
Standing on the firm ground.
Faith her staff of confidence
Truth the song sung within
She never doubted her future
Never taking her eyes from Him.
He lit the way and her life
Making everything make sense
And would in days yet to be
Until her final journey end.
Even that wouldn’t be final
He would be with her evermore
That’s the hope she knows
As this day beginning her walk.
