Some topics are easy to write about. This series is full of rich ,thick ,smokey characters that you can see. Close your eyes and picture yourself there in the moment. Its meant to be brutal because that is how it is - brutal.
I`ve seen a lot of violence and blood, its not pretty - it`s terrifying. the kind of stuff that keeps you up at night. I put it in my books amongst other things.

The Gilgo beach NY serial killer is or was( if he is still alive or moved on) a fascination I have been studying. I worked for the utility company that serviced that area. I`ve formed some opinions and a profile on the killer. It`s all very familiar to me .I drove by that spot a lot. The road is pencil straight. You can see for miles at night. I doubt anyone drove out there at night . tail lights , headlights. I may write more about it at another time
The way you write is so fascinating. I've never been so hooked to a writing before and seeing the way you write just makes me happy
