An interview I recently participated in asked if I added messaging to my stories. My response was "absolutely". In doing so, I conveyed the message that I respected my readers and didn't insult them with vapid, fluffy and meaningless escapism.

All my novels - the 4th coming out next month - bring messages from history into today's world. Yes, the stories are unique and entertaining. No, they are not exploitive or gratuitous.
