Six moths ago I discovered to my surprise that my favorite author, Clive Cussler was holding an adventure writers competition. Wow! With Zero Point being in print and a Kindle for only two months and with about as many sales, I decided to enter. The chance of someone actually reading and judging my work was worth the effort. Sadly, I discovered that I had to remove my book from print as part of the contest rules.

To my delight, I discovered the other day that I actually made it to the five finalists and now look forward to the announcement of the winner in October.  My hope is that someone will take notice of Zero Point whether I win, or not.

Until October, I'll have to be patient and continue writing the second in my Turner adventure series. I hope the time passes quicker than the last six months!
