Just wanted to update on something I did this morning.

I managed to link my poetry archive site (https://underwaterfall.com/) to Google Analytics.

What prompted me to do that is the amazing reception of the site and now, that I am planning to launch my second book (and perhaps drive more audience), I wanted a better dashboard to assess the hits and geographies. Here are the steps I took to connect them. Leaving them here for any indie author/publisher:

1. Create a Google Analytics page using your Google Account

2. Create a property and enter your site details. (google how to create a property on google analytics)

3. Open up your WordPress Dashboard and add the plugin - Monsterinsights (google how to add it)

4. Follow the wizard and allow your google account access to link them

Done!
