James Herbert inspired horror.

The Fading Light Series is heavily inspired by the works of James Herbert, in particular The Ghosts of Sleath, or if you’re a fan of King, Salem’s Lot. In those two books we got to witness villages and towns slowly swallowed by supernatural forces. With the Fading light Series, I am looking to do this to the whole world. The Earth could very well be looking at the End Times, as the story progresses, we will see supernatural events being reported all around the world.
The tale is told in the form of short stories, which at first will seem isolated, but as events pickup, locations, as well as characters will cross over to form an interwoven plot.
The first phase, which starts with Lucy, will deal with an increase in hauntings, at first the public will be largely unaware that anything is happening. Other paranormal events will slowly start to increase as well.
The second phase will slowly see a number of people become aware that something is not right. Reporters will notice an increase in the number of strange cases appearing on their desks. More and more police officers encounter strange and terrifying events. Though their commanders tend to down play, or just disregard these accounts all together.
The Third phase. The number of strange events is starting to be noticed by the public, there is a sharp increase in murders, disappearances and suicides across the globe. Civil unrest increases as people in some areas flee their homes, often after having terrifying encounters with things that should not exist.
The Fourth Phase. The night has become a place of fear, strange noises are heard echoing down empty streets, screams come from homes. A new dark age is looming.

Vampires, Ghosts, witches, demons’ werewolves, are just some of the beings that will play a part in my stories.
If you like the sound of what I have planned please help me make it a reality, Lucy is now available on Amazon, along with book two, The Shepherd. Lucy is £2.50, or if you’re in the US $3.26.
I have 5 stars on both Amazon and Good reads, and the Editors at Jericho writers described both stories as terrifying, gruesome and very atmospheric. If you have any questions or just want to know more, please feel free to contact me.
