I’ve been so incredibly wrapped up in life that my last blog post on here was posted 2 YEARS AGO!  Wow!  It is crazy how sometimes life catches you up in a whirlwind where you blink just a little bit too long and when you open your eyes you realize that years have gone by.

That being said, it was time for a refresh.  Despite having an infant in the house, working full-time, and trying to keep up with all of the normal daily routines around the house, I have been working on book three again.  I took the time to read everything that I had so far, start to finish.  I made some edits, and now that I’m caught back up with the story, I have been chiseling away at the remaining pages so that I can have something to share with you guys as soon as possible.  I know how hard it is to wait for the next part of a story to come out, especially when the second book kind of left you all hanging… but… I would rather take this time to really make sure the third book is well-written before publishing it.  There have been so many times where I sat down and felt rushed or distracted while writing, and it wasn’t doing the story justice.  Now, I am investing time into really embracing the words and creating the next part of this story that will (hopefully) be worth waiting for!  The good news is that the fourth and final book in the series is already outlined, so once this third one is done, I should be able to dive right in and work on the last one.

You know, the whole “object in motion stays in motion” thing – well, that’s how my brain works.  Ha!

I also spent some time on my website.  If you have visited it before, you know that it was needing some new life put into it.  I am sure that it will always be evolving with me, but for now, I think that it looks a lot nicer than it did before.

Finally, in addition to writing, website editing, and the 9 million other things that occupy me on a daily basis, I have been working on creating some merchandise that is related to my books and writing.  I mean – haven’t you all thought about having a coffee mug with Calypso’s face on it (wearing her glasses, of course)?

Anyways, I just wanted to post to say “hello” and that I’m happy to be back.  Keep checking back for more updates and posts.  I plan to be on here a lot more often.
