As I was writing this book it took a detour I never intended. My books are usually sexy, sassy, and have a lot of heart song moments. Suddenly I was dealing with kidnapping and abuse. Of my heroine!

How could l allow this to happen. I tried my best to re-write but Shay wouldn't allow me to. It wasn't until about the third chapter that I realized that this wasn't a book about what Shay went through. It was a book about healing and finding someone that loves her enough to stand beside her in support and loving her without over shadowing or changing her.

It was the hardest thing Ant had to do. He's a protector but he knew Shay that was the last thing Shay would accept. But...he had a workaround that he could live with.
