My new book, For the Exe, is out today. It's a departure from my previous books in many ways. It tells the tale of a source to sea hike along the beautiful River Exe in the South West of England. But it's also an ode to the river itself. Blending fact and fiction, history and hearsay. Alongside the main narrative there's also a collection of short stories.
Plus it's jam packed with history and wildlife and all manner of things linked to this incredible river.

Succeed for fail, it is the book I wanted it to be. As such, I'm unapologetically proud of it.
