The Offhand Wish that Came to Fruition

This book is Ann’s and Terry’s jointly written memoir, release date, February 9, 2021.

This is what Ann said about Terry in a letter to her boyfriend, Lt. Jack Sigg, 1963:

“It’s rare to see Terry working with and within a situation for improvement. He is powerfully fluent, but some of the trouble his vitriolic pen and wayward nature have gotten him into would curl your hair. Surely, he’s doomed to a tumultuous, unhappy life, but it’s impossible to separate this from his quick wit and talent. He’s a tragic character. I hope I don’t die before I write a book
about him—his story is worth telling.”
--Chapter 4 of A Rendezvous to Remember, “A Peek into the Cold War,” page 60.

A Rendezvous to Remember: A Memoir of Joy and Heartache at the Dawn of the Sixties

Congratulations, Ann. At long last, your wish is about to come to fruition.

Terry Marshall Thanks, Terry, for proving me wrong about that tumultuous, unhappy life and that tragic character. But oh, my prophetic soul! I never imagined WE would write that book together. Or that we'd share a tremendously HAPPY life--after that bumpy road on the way to marriage. Whew, what a ride! -- Ann
