What I'm Reading: 2020, Week 49

I don't want to talk about the fact that it's already December. Let's talk books, instead. Specifically, what I have on the ol' reading list this week.
I already finished Wild Child and Mistletoe in Malibu by Lola West. She could probably write complete crap and I'd gobble it up, because she has earned that right. Y'all, her books are everything. Funny, poignant, and short but not too short. Like a perfect piece of pie, they hit the spot and satisfy without being too much. I especially loved Mistletoe because Buck (a cousin of the Morgans) is a young man who found himself a slightly more advanced filly to saddle up with, if you get my drift. If you don't, I'm telling you this is an older woman/younger man book and I am here for it! So good.
This week is one I've been waiting forward to for months because Mae Harden's third book in the Sonoma series, Revved Up, releases on the 3rd! Cue fan-girl screaming. I plan on reading her first two books between working on The Return to Halfpoint and chasing my child around the house with a diaper because I love this series so much and will be super sad when I finish Revved Up.
Lastly, I have a few craft books I'd like to dig into this week: How to Write Short Romance Kindle Books, Mastering Book Hook for Authors, and Just Write. The last one is a re-read of one of my favorite craft books of all time. It's literally the most encouraging book I've ever read.
Well, that's it for me. Busy week in the books and with writing, but Kiddo's back in school for a couple weeks and I'm gonna milk that time for all it's worth!
What are you reading this week? Any recommendations for me?
