I discovered a long time ago that there is no "right" way or "wrong" way to write. You just write. Now I think that's not entirely true. For example, when I started reading more, I feel my stories became more alive to me. The use of vivid descriptions and seeing how others write has actually been very beneficial to me. My work always felt a little flat because I didn't know how to really spice it up. Oh, I took writing courses in college, but reading regularly has truly expanded my use of vocabulary. No two people write the same, so therefore, you can get a different perspective from each new thing you read. Isn't it awesome that God made us ALL different?
