"Moving Willie" is the story of nine-year-old Willie's experience and challenges living in the industrial city of Lowell in 1955, followed by living on his father's remote farm hidden in the woods of Central Massachusetts where he is forced to mature faster than he might have imagined.
Because of the protagonist's age, many would consider "Moving Willie" a Middle-Grade genre. However, I hope for a wider audience of those who enjoyed "Old Yeller."
