Thanks for the review. I never could warm up to Yoko's tracks, so yes, paying full price for a record that was half listenable was a little irksome. At least with the CD you could program her out! I don't even like all of John's tracks, but to say they are lacking in melody, is just plain ignorance on the part of the early reviewers. I may not care for "Starting Over", but there's no question it's catchy and singable. I agree, Lennon was far ahead of his peers in addressing the concept of aging in his work, but he didn't receive any praise for it the way Cohen and Dylan did years later.
