Books not Listed Here!
Hi!
One of the nice things about Goodreads is that it syncs with your Kindle account. One of the bad things about that is that unfortunately books you bought in physical copy or read from the library wind up unrepresented, if you are lazy like me.
Someday no doubt I will reconcile these lists, but if you are interested in my tastes, please include the following that live in my house or the libraries of the Midwest, Northeast and Austin:
-Genuinely everything by Terry Pratchett
-Practically everything by Stephen King
-Quite a lot of Donald Westlake/Richard Stark, including the charming Dortmunder series
-A very solid percentage of Dorothy Sayers, Isaac Asimov and JRR Tolkien.
-Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson and the first sequel series
These aren't all universal endorsements, per se--if they were listed here they'd have their own ratings and they wouldn't all be 5s or 4s or even 3s--but they're important enough to me to be worth mentoning.
