For Me, the Difference Between Hacker News and Twitter

Hacker News:

   1. Browse front page.   2. See interesting story.   3. Read comments.    4. If interesting discussion, read article.   5. Upvote good comments.   6. Commend great comments.   7. Amplify comments with which I strongly agree.   8. Respond to comments with which I strongly disagree.     9. Comment with strong thoughts regarding article.  10. Edit comments repeatedly until clean.   11. Go back to work.  12. Return to HN threads, looking for replies.  13. Respond to compelling replies.   14. Get pissed at down votes.  15. Forget about being pissed at down votes.  16. Get pissed at negative replies.  17. Forget about being pissed at negative replies.  18. Go to Step 1 (5 to 10 times per day) or shut down.

Twitter:

Thought. Textpad. Type. "View Document Properties" until < 140. Copy. Paste. Tweet. Oops. Delete. Fix. Repeat. Click @edw519. Nothing. Sigh.
