Audiobook in Production:
Bradford Hastings, who did such a fantastic job narrating The Last Sword Maker, is back to do the audiobook and will be heading into the studio next week. Part of the book takes place in Africa and involves a group of Khoe-San tribesmen. As you may know they speak a click language and I have sprinkled many of these words into the dialogue. I’m hoping that Bradford will have fun with this and won’t be cursing my name. Right now I’m scrambling to confirm the proper pronunciation of some of the words, which is very difficult because there is shockingly little documentation of the language, which, like many languages, is at risk of dying out.
