1st Exposure to the Beatles

My first exposure to the Beatles was as a 5 year old in 1966. I had found the Meet The Beatles lp my older sister owned. As I sat listening, I could not stop staring at that cover...those four heads...wondering who sang what...knowing so little about music and even life at that age. But I must have stared at that cover through both sides of that incredible music. I remember wondering how each song seemed to be better than the last. There weren't many moments in my life where an album impacted me that much. The only that was even close in my lifetime was discovering Robert Johnson and how that rocked me to my core. But Meet The Beatles meant more than just an album or music to me - it opened up a world of wonder that hasn't ceased to exist within me.
