My first 2021 blog post. :-)

Dear readers and book lovers, welcome to my first 2021 blog post.
I have to admit I’ve been very naughty and negligent to the author blog on my website. In fact the last time I blogged was 2017. Thus I’ve made a 2021 goal of blogging once or twice a month. The topics will vary, and hopefully I’ll get on the bandwagon and stick to making extra content for my readers to devour. (Perhaps I should make a rule of an extra bowl of ice cream, or new book for my own book shelf per month when I’ve met my blogging goals ;-))

In addition to this blogging, I always have and will continue to send out newsletter updates about my books and writing every single month. I also use my author newsletter to connect with readers in a fun way that gives back with book and prize giveaways ( subscribe here if you want to receive my newsletter ).
I try to also keep up with social media posting, centering around my writing and more, on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Goodreads, Amazon, etc. So for readers that want to check in on me there is a way :-).

When connecting on social media I love knowing fun and random things about my own book loving community such as… what was your favorite snack indulgence while watching the Super Bowl or if you don’t care for football (like me, whereas my husband is a huge fan) what is your favorite snack to eat while reading, writing, or watching your favorite show?

Above was my snack of choice, these were really good :-). (And no this is not sponsored)
For those that haven’t seen content from me since 2017, here is a quick author/life update:I’ve published a total of 17 books since 2017 (with 27 books and 2 screenplays in total). 2017 was also the year I became a USA Today Bestselling author through two group projects (Heroes and Heroines & Murder & Mayhem boxed sets).
In 2019 I went to Europe (France and Switzerland for the first time) got engaged, and in 2020, (despite the scariness, life changes and hardships of the year) I got married to the love of my life.

I also have continued to work behind-the-scenes on a television show full time, in addition to being an author, for almost eight years now. Life for me is busy, sometimes very challenging, and yet I couldn't feel more blessed, and that’s solely because I try to pull all my strength from my faith in God (Yeshua), the stronghold of my life. I try to thank God everyday for the big and small things, for my very breath. I’m thankful for being able to work, write, fall in love, and be surrounded by hard-working people that constantly keep moving when life gets tough and paralyzing. This includes my readers BIG TIME.
My readers are book lovers, story chasers, incredible dreamers, and blessed with vivid imaginations. Know that I’m a reading fan at heart too, and it doesn’t matter if others think we’re lost in the clouds or nerdy. In fact in this day and age, with so much negative news, I believe sometimes having your head in the clouds, and beyond to the stars, all the way to galaxies not yet foretold… but certainly cultivated in one’s imagination, is a great place to start. It’s good to be yourself, and even to be a little strange at times, that means you’re original and can think and dream for yourself. Never lose that guys. <3
