WICKER MAN, the 4th entry in the Nick Cross Mysteries, is set to launch and I am so excited! Why? Because there's nothing I love better than murder! Okay, maybe that didn't come out right so let me try again: There's nothing I love better than murder when it's confined to the written page! Better? I think so, too.

WICKER MAN is the most intense entry yet. I spent the last couple of chapters in tears as I typed away. I always try to expose the emotion of murder, and I use myself as the human guinea pig. After all, if I'm not emotionally involved, why would a reader be? And Detective Nick Cross is the perfect character to express the human side of police work. While quick-tempered, he wears his heart on the sleeve—especially where his family is concerned. It’s this all-too-fallible side that gets him into trouble, but we love him for chancing to care about the people involved in the grisly reality of homicide.

WICKER MAN is scheduled to be released on March 11th. The pre-order price is .99₵, but right now I am looking for readers anxious to read-and-review and post their thoughts on Goodreads, Amazon, and any other site they frequent.
