HOLDING ON - RELEASE DAY!

Holding on

Maturity, wisdom, experience... What they don’t tell you when you’re young is that it comes with a price. When you’re fifty-something, who you are isn’t just built up from laughter and luck. Some things will hurt, and sometimes so badly you just want to curl up and hide for forever, but the tide always turns. You’ll emerge on the other side, although not quite the same. Still you, but also not you anymore.

But what if life hits you so hard you forget how to breathe? And then hits you some more?
How will you cope?

Will you curl up and whimper, or are you resilient enough to regroup and somehow keep walking, holding on to the hope that you one day will breathe easy again?

Adeline has to find out, but lucky for her, she finds someone to lean on...

I hope you'll enjoy!

Shirley Brown Thank you for writing! Starting with Gibson, I’ve read all your books and have always felt like I was part of the story. Not enough authors write about 50+ adults and I for one will be first in line to devour your books. Life truly begins when you open a book and allow yourself to become one of the characters.

Mia Malone Thank you so much! When I write, I always feel as if I’m right there in Wilhelmine or Hark Falls or wherever, hanging out with my friends ... To hear that I’ve managed to put that feeling into my stories really made my day :)
