Alec, how many books in the shadow of the dust do you anticipate to be?

Hi Ed! I would love to write more - I really enjoyed writing Shadows and keep having cool bits of worldbuilding and plot pop into my head for future stories. Unfortunately, it has to be on the back-burner because I think the concept was just a little too weird for folks, and despite my best efforts, I haven't had much luck getting readers to give the book a try. Which is a shame, because I'd love to return to the stellar tributary. And I will come back, but for the moment I have to concentrate on stuff I think will be more popular. Shadows is self-contained, at least, so I'm not leaving Drifter and the rest hanging off a cliff.
