As I write this short missive I am reminded of the 1918 Spanish Flu that the world tried to disregard. 1918? 2021? The similarities are interesting. The devastation of governments sticking their heads in the sand a century ago and today are frightening. In 1918 the death toll from the Spanish Flu was 50 million. Over 500 million were infected. In this nation alone there have been over 550 million deaths. Those that refuse to pay attention to history are destined to relive it.
