Grammar and Typos

I was 16 when I started writing stories. Back then, I was over-excited about world-building and executing it. I cared very little about writing prose and as a result, I also ignored punctuation, typos and often the grammatical errors.

Now, a decade later, when I decided to publish it, I did not want to proofread for various reasons – I did not want to wait to publish, I thought I could edit little by little after publishing (since KDP allowed it) and, lastly, I just wanted my book out there first. I cared very little about the criticisms that my silly mistakes would bring. I thought and still think that if I had waited to proofread, fixed the silly mistakes plus the proses and the style, I would never publish it and eventually I would lose motivation to.

Now that I re-read my books and found the obvious errors, I am now more motivated to fix them and republish my books.
