A dinky is a small streetcar that moved rail cars around a train yard and carried as many as 40 passengers on existing rail lines. The dinky ran on electric power. A trolley pole connected it to overheard wires. In St. Louis, there's a movement to bring back the dinky, called the "Loop Trolley."
