I hope that by now you have been able to settle down. I had no idea that doctors in the US were experiencing something of the same as doctors in the UK experience.

So my romantic notion that health care is so much better in all the rest of the industrialized world is wrong. Thanks for sharing that. It's oddly comforting in a way, to know it's not a uniquely American kind of stupidity. But I'm sorry you're having to deal with the same bad medicine!
You are definitely not alone! All I can suggest is that we each try to make our own small corner top notch.
...and fight to make sure you get the health care you need! I have had to jump up and down and yell to get my annual pap smear. Because healthy normal people only need them every five years, now. As for a two-time cancer survivor like me? Well, you don't get one, anyway. Because we don't care and we aren't listening. Just give us your co-pay for this doctor visit.
