Big let down
I wonder if any other author gets the initial surge of excitement upon publication, but then a big 'let down' a little while afterwards?
There is a flurry of activity with people buying, reading and reviewing, but then........nothing; like a deflated balloon a few days after it has been inflated.
I suppose it's time to start writing a new story.......

My one and only novel was commercially available from Aug. 9, 2011 through Dec. 31, 2016, when the publisher filed for bankruptcy and went out of business; perhaps due to signing too many authors like myself. During its approximately 5 1/2 years of availability, only 1,029 units were sold.
I personally have no desire or the time to attempt to write again. I admire prolific writers like yourself. Very few ever achieve significant notoriety or commercial success within this extremely competitive field. That said; some have. There is no reason why you might not eventually become one of them. I wish you success.
