I'm always curious to see what people define as a good read. I personally think that as long as I find myself engaged in the book, then the book is a good read. This, of course, does not mean that the story line does not have flaws or that the character development is perfect, but rather that as a writer, you were able to transport me to a world that you created and I was able to visualize and feel everything that you wrote. Of course, there will always be something that could've been done better, but nothing's ever perfect is it?
What do you define as a good read?
